Katie Mukai currently holds a Masters in Psychology and is working on her PhD in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Neuropsychology, at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. Her thesis and dissertation will be focused on exploring cognitive abilities, particularly those involved in inhibition and decision-making, in adults who have undergone pediatric hemispherectomy.

When she’s not poring over textbooks and materials for class, she’s out hiking, riding her bike, and rock climbing. Katie recently adopted a 3-year-old cat named Peanut, and will take any opportunity to show you numerous pictures of her new fur baby.
